This week's tv-series

0 Kommentare

Let’s start my ranting with Saturday’s Rosa Roth. The sound was awful (but that must be a ZDF problem). The story and all the rest were great. And we got to see so much of her, more than in other episodes because she still had no other team. Then ending – well that was quite dark, but nevertheless typical for this series. All in all this week’s highlight.

CSI Las Vegas – what was that? The labrats getting an entire episode for themselves? No thanks.

Law and order New York – I had my doubts, when I saw the trailer and early on in the episode. But the episode didn’t turn out to be a homophobic one, no - that subject was treated quite delicately. But please give Det. Benson her cool outfits back, the no-nonsense t-shirts and shirts, and when did she start to wear those huge earrings? Why this femming up the character?

Criminal Intent –Dets Eames and Goran. Fighting against the FBI and making the agents look stupid. Good one, until I feel asleep. Which also happened the other days, cause I had problems adjusting to winter time. I was tired that I even forgot to record my favorite series…tough luck…

This week’s tv-series

Good news first. Am 22. November gibt es eine neue Bella Block Folge (…denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun). Yeah!

Davor kommt am 01. November was Neues mit Rosa Roth, auch sehr sehenswert.

Gestern Abend kam mal wieder Das Duo.

3 min „airtime“.

CSI Miami is on position number one of my drop list. This series is getting worse and worse, the suspension is gone and most of what defined CSI when it started (the procedural aspect), is almost nonexistent in Miami.

CSI Las Vegas is preparing the exit of Sara Sidle and Det. Curtis is nowhere to be seen, but at least the main stories are working. CSI New York is very unspectacular; I like it how they manage to also bring the 2nd line of characters upfront from time to time. Criminal Intent is also back, I know that I saw it, but can’t remember anything. I’ll make sure to watch it consciously next week.

And tonight => NCIS, currently my absolute favorite.

Christina Cox on Bones

I still remember vividly when I saw my first “FX: The Series”-episode. Enter that blonde brat and I was hooked, though I’d never really had it specifically for Blondes ;->

Since then Christina Cox has come a long way, even if most first think of “Better than chocolate” when hearing her name.

She’s done a lot single appearances in several well known series, I remember House – where she played a domina – best.

This week she graced our screens with an appearance in Bones; and with Blood Ties starting next week on another channel of the same group, I don’t think of this as a coincidence but intelligent programming. Blood Ties is not my type of series, sure it’s got crime and she plays a private detective but the bigger plot is the vampire stuff – and I’m simply not into that.

Back to Bones - Yet another kinky character for her. She did look incredibly gorgeous in that “riding”-outfit¨, but that's about it.

I know that it’s not very realistic, but I sincerely hope that we too will get the chance to see the “Nikki & Nora” film. Until then….there’s always fan fiction ;-)

Btw, Law & Order SVU was very deceiving this week, almost no airtime for Det. Benson

Detective Benson is back.

Finally.:-) Still with an awful hairdo, but back nonetheless. I really liked her replacement, Danny Becker, but there was this undercurrent plot that she wasn’t going to be there for long and they wrote more confrontations into the script between her and Stabler, than they had for Benson/Stabler for entire seasons.
I also didn’t like the episodes before Det. Benson went undercover that much. I know, they decided that a pregnant Liv wasn’t too believable for the show, but all those other problems they wrote into that season? A lot of it was really overdoing.
New episodes of CSI (Las Vegas), specifically the last 2 episodes of season 7, ran later on RTL. But come on, two episodes back to back and only starting at 10pm on weekday? In foresight I had programmed my tv-card because faithfully to myself I was asleep by then ;->
